Translation Tuesday: Mind Your Manners

Mind your manners… doesn’t really need much of an explanation, right?

Makes sense, right? I can say I have definitely heard this more down here than when I lived up North. Not that people didn’t mind their manners up north… that is not the case at all. It is more I often hear this being told to children… or in a group of women who are gossiping just a little too much about someone. Just a quick look and this phrase given with a tone that says “you KNOW you should be doing better.” Mind your manners!
