Throwback Thursday: Senior Prom, April 2000

Bye Bye Bye from *NSync, Sisqo’s the thong song, crop tops, Y2K meltdown failed to happen, Bush v. Gore, Hanging Chads, the start of reality TV with Survivor, the Elian Gonzalez saga… all things that happened in the first year of the new millennium, and the year I graduated from high school…. 2000.

I think I was actually on crutches at this dance, but it is all a little fuzzy now. I can still remember the theme song though: When You Say Nothing At All by Alison Krauss. The dance was at the Syndicate and I just remember it being a lot of fun. I’m sure there was drama and fights, but I don’t remember any of that now… I just remember having fun with my friends. These ladies above, the majority of which I am actually still friends with. Not bad for 14 years later.

Once again though, what was up with that blonde hair of mine?
