On the first day of winter

Yesterday was the first official day of winter and it was 80 degrees and sunny here in the deep South.

I ran around finishing my Christmas shopping wearing jeans, a t-shirt and flip flops… this is a heat wave for us, it is normally in the upper 50s/ lower 60s in December. But I’ve been enjoying it still… and it has been this way all week. A cold front with a massive rain storm will push through tonight and we will be back into the 50’s again this week. But let’s be honest, that is is still a lot better that the upper 20’s it is slated to be in Ohio. I so don’t do cold weather.

And yes, I have had the AC and the heat on this weekend… that’s the South!
